The Nike Training Club App! This thing is awesome. Seriously, it's my new best friend. For those days that I don't know what to do or don't feel motivated to plan my own workout, this covers me!
The app has many workouts to choose from that are just 15, 30, or 45 minutes! You can even choose the level you want to start at... I have a feeling I'll be at beginner for the rest of my life.
I'm scared to even try intermediate, let alone advanced. But you can do it! ;)
The app also allows you to choose specific target areas like back, shoulders, abs, booty, etc.
Another awesome thing?! You can totally do these workouts at home. I have a set of 3- and 5- pound dumbbells and that is plenty for me! You could even do the moves without weights and it would still be a killer workout.
Last night, I didn't go to the gym with a plan so hopped on the treadmill and ran 2 miles. Then I opened my Nike app and chose a quick 15 minute upper body workout to do. 15 minutes flew by when I had someone telling me exactly what to do and when to recover. If you don't know how to do a certain move, no fear. They have pictures AND a video to show you; along with voice ques while you're doing the move.
Sorry to say it, but with this app, you have no excuses not to get an awesome workout in. After the 15 minute workout last night, my arms were trembling for a good hour.
Definitely feeling it today! Looking forward to an easy day tomorrow with the Turkey Trot then gorging on delicious food!
