So many people thought we were going to keep him, and we really wanted to, but three dogs were too much for us. With our inconsistent work schedules and my working weekends, it would have been selfish for us to keep him. We wanted to see him go to a home where he got all the attention he deserved... and where we could stay in touch with him!
That's when I found Liz! Liz works with me at Mayo and I happened to be telling a story about Bruiser one day when she said she was looking to adopt a dog. I showed her a video and a picture of Bruiser, and it was love at first sight for her!
The adoption happened quickly and before we knew it, Liz was picking up Bruiser to take him to his forever home.
It has been four months now since he has left our home. I absolutely love hearing all about him from Liz at work or through Facebook photos she posts.
That hot dog costume cracks me up!!!
He seems very content in his new home and we couldn't be more happy for him! He's definitely part of a home that loves him very much and sees him as a member of the family.
Thank you, Liz!
I know I've said in the past but I'll say it again: ADOPT! There are so many animals in shelters that have been neglected, forgotten, and abused. All they want and need is love. My two pups are the most grateful and loyal dogs I've ever had, I'll adopt animals for the rest of my life!
Wow!!! your doggy is very sweet I also have one. His name is Browny. Actually his color is brown so I called him browny.
